Does your company do the research to find the photos we need? |
No. That is not part of our services. We create family trees from the photos that are sent to us.
|
What if I can't find photos for all the individuals I want to display? |
We use silhouettes of men and women to replace missing photos. However, If an entire generation has no photos to accompany their names & birthdates, then we recommend using just text boxes without the use of the silhouettes.
|
What if I have photos going back 5 generations, but my spouse has nothing beyond his parents' generation? Do I use silhouette's for all those individuals? |
Well, I guess you could if that was your choice; however, we would probably recommend that you do an individual family tree showing only your ancestry. Pictured here is an example of a 4+Individual layout.
|
Why do you only offer family trees featuring photos in black&white or sepia and not in color? |
Three reasons:
- It's what looks best! It gives a classy, old-fashioned look.
- Clients like the artistic, uniform balance so that older photographs blend in well with modern-day photographs.
- We don't want to limit a client's selection of certain photographs because an individual in them is wearing a bright, stand-out color that would bring unwanted attention to their photo.
